Hello Happy Cruisers!
A big WOW goes out to the 2016 Abingdon Women Cruise featuring 2-time Dove Award winner and Gospel singer and Author, Babbie Mason, plus Authors Melissa Spoelstra, Barbara Roose and Natalie Snapp.
It was my first time attending this type cruise but certainly not my last. I came home nourished and inspired, contemplative and vision focused, motivated and super charged for my personal “year of intent.” What more could anyone ask for than feeling as the week implied MORE THAN ENOUGH!
The beautiful Celebrity Constellation in and out of Fort Lauderdale, FL was our home on the sea with stops in Cozumel, Mexico and Key West, FL. Sea days were devoted to enrichment workshops, a complete concert by my new sista Babbie and beyond that much rest and relaxation to reflect and grow. And that I did mentally, spiritually and yes probably physically with the way-too-delicious food on yet another Celebrity cruise ship. On that you can count! Our cabin on 6 had a larger than most deck, giving much needed “relax” time. Yes it’s HARD having an “office” like that. I admit it!
On a Celebrity ship the officers are very welcoming and interactive. Here you see them in the beautifully lit atrium explaining where they will be in order for cruisers to meet up and chat a bit. The interesting artwork is always something to behold on this cruise line as well. My cabin mate Elizabeth and I decided to try out this quite comfortable “lounge” area for a photo, too.
Shops are the highest of quality and style while the theater and pool area were often frequented with the BEST entertainment! The SPA pool was a bit quieter with glass overhead, a great place to read and or write in my case.
The 11th Deck Reflections Lounge hosted most of the “More Than Enough” sessions with over 100 women registered. Here you see Babbie Mason as well as Barbara Roose with me after enriching sessions that SOOOO touched my heart! Beautiful women with a voice for the Lord!
Sally Sharpe with Abingdon Press did a beautiful job of starting each session off with a smile and much love in the heart. FUN workshops included such things as “making our depiction of armour” for the soldiers to ward off the enemy. Some made shields, some swords, etc. etc. etc. In closing here is a photo of all the speakers involved. My thanks goes out to all the preparation and follow through to carry an event like this off.
And so to close before heading off next week to the Dominican Republic for a few days, remember new friendships and treasured smiles and hugs are gifts when given out – and they do bounce back in return.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, until YOU decide to take a trip of this kind or any other kind. And WHEN you do, please contact me at 970-396-8253 or CLMPeace01@gmail.com. I would love to arrange and be a part of your journey.
Bye for now.
