Get A TASSA TAG For Your Luggage

Upcoming cruise travel over the next few weeks makes me entirely GRATEFUL for so many things! And with gratefulness often comes a mind exploration for me – one that often ends up on the subject of humanitarianism. So, please allow me to share some foodTravelers Against Sex Slavery and Trafficking - TassaTag 2013-10-27 17-25-49 for thought as it relates to packing since that was our most recent subject matter (other than Cruise World 2013). It seems getting “twittered off” now and then is part of my personality. Cruising is simply ONE of my passions.

ECPAT USA (End Child Prostitution and Trafficking) is a non-profit children’s rights organization whose mission is to protect all children from commercial sexual exploitation. The TASSA TAG project is all about luggage tags with a purpose!

If you are a traveler YOU can help bring awareness to a solid effort — that of saving lives! Here are some of the advantages of the TASSA TAG purchased for your journeys:

** Helps train people in the Travel Industry to take a more active role in stopping this horrid situation.

** Helps inform the public that the sexual abuse of children (paid or unpaid) is against the law everywhere, and perpetrators will be prosecuted and extradited to their home country.

** Helps mobilize congress and state legislators to create the laws necessary to fully address this heinous crime against children.

TASSA TAGS are only $12 each. They are made by women at the Regina Self-Help Center in Nongkhai, Thailand, and each is constructed with hand woven cotton and hand embroidered. The Regina Center is one of the producing partners of HandCraftingJustice, which is a member of the Fair Trade Federation.
